1. Ensure the firearm is unloaded the remove the factory grips.

You will re-use the Ruger factory hardware with these grips.  

2. Using the screw as a tool, remove the ferrule from the left factory grip.

3. Using the screw as a tool, install the ferrule in the new left grip with the smaller shoulder facing down.  Place the grip on a flat surface and press down on the screw until the ferrule is until flush.

4.  Mount the wood grips on the grip-frame starting in the upper corner then pressing down on the locating pin.  They may be tight.  Install screw in the right grip. Press down to bottom of the hole so there is enough length to engage the threads.  Do not over tighten.
